Detectives learn how to investigate correctly.
Supervisors learn how to lead, manage, and evaluate those investigations. Detectives gain structure, discipline, and investigative confidence. Supervisors gain the leadership tools to reinforce expectations, ensure consistency, and drive high-quality outcomes. Departments benefit from aligned practices, fewer investigative gaps, and greater prosecutorial readiness.

COURSE I: Investigative Concepts for Line-Level Detectives

This 8-hour class gives detectives the essential skills required to conduct smart, thorough, and legally defensible investigations. Through case-based discussions and exercises, students learn how to manage scenes, develop leads, analyze information, and drive cases forward with precision and clarity.

COURSE II: Supervising Criminal Investigations

This 8-hour leadership-centric program equips supervisors with the skills to direct, evaluate, and manage investigations while building a culture of accountability, ethical behavior, and coordinated teamwork. The emphasis is on transitioning from “doing the work” to leading those who do the work.
